Hall Correspondent Vacancy

 

 

 

 

We are looking for a correspondent at each of our halls.

Duties: To assist the Group Publicity Officer by:

Identifying events and activities by individuals and groups from their respective halls and lodges/chapters that could be used as stories on the Provincial / Group websites.

Collecting information and photographs of such events and passing them on to the Group Publicity Officer. In the absence of the Group Publicity Officer,

Attending installations and special events in their respective halls and lodges, taking required photographs and recording relevant information on the proscribed pro forma to be passed on in a timely manner.

The Hall correspondent will receive help and guidance from Group officers in the discharge of his duties.

Key Skills: The ability to take photographs, but note, it is not necessary to be an accomplished photographer, as experience taking holiday and family snaps will suffice. Listening and communication skills – be able to gather information by communicating with the relevant people.

Computer skills – the ability to record information using MS Word, use email, and not necessary but desirable, be able to use basic photo management software. Interested? In the first instance please contact The Group Secretary, Chris Reeman
